The Queen´s Spring
Along the road to Taxinge Castle lies the Queen´s Spring, an old trinity spring.
The Queen´s Spring is called after Katarina Jagellonica, wife of King John III.
The Queen´s Spring is called after Katarina Jagellonica, wife of King John III.
Legend has it that she went there to fetch fresh water for her husband during the time when he was imprisoned by King Erik XIV at Gripsholm Castle.
